The Illinois Public Employer Labor Relations Association, IPELRA, is formed
to provide the highest standard of excellence in assisting and representing
all public sector employers in the area of labor and employee relations.

WHAT IS IPELRA?
Established in 1978, IPELRA is a professional, non-profit Illinois Association with over 250 members comprised of public sector management representatives responsible for carrying out the labor relations program within their respective jurisdictions. IPELRA is affiliated with the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA).
WHO BELONGS?
Members are working in municipal, county or state government, school districts, state university systems, and special purpose districts, representing management in employee relations or at the bargaining table with public employee unions. Some members are also lawyers and private consultants serving management exclusively.
